Lead a manufacturing automation team responsible for developing, validating, and documenting high-volume assembly processes for optical devices and modules
Drive the design and deployment of scalable, cost-effective automated processes
Define and optimize process architectures, throughput targets, cost structures, and equipment strategies
Serve as the technical lead for development of automated equipment with external suppliers
Collaborate closely with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams
Lead the technical transfer of manufacturing processes to contract manufacturing partners
Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing automation team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
8–10+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing process development
Proven experience leading technical teams delivering complex manufacturing or automation programs
Strong experience with automation systems
Demonstrated experience applying Design for X (DFx) principles
Ability to work effectively with global suppliers and partners
Willingness to travel internationally as required
