Provide in-person and remote support to field installation teams and subcontractors
Create, review and check electrical installation schematics and plans for various equipment
Physically oversee and or undertake installations with a hands-on approach
Train and coach field engineering teams for high quality workmanship
Help build and maintain standard work procedures and standards
Review equipment installations, identify issues and propose/rectify remedial work
Ensure all installations comply with technical standards, safety protocols, and project specifications
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance for optimal performance
Document installation procedures and generate detailed reports for stakeholders
Help define long term maintenance programs for optimal system reliability
Requirements
Time served apprenticeship or QBE with holding a minimum 17th Edition
Proven experience in electrical installations – for example integrated CCTV and building monitoring systems, building power systems and or communication towers
Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety regulations, and networking fundamentals
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, server rack layouts, and technical drawings, schematics, standards and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Appreciation of cultural differences in overseas territories and ability to communicate well with overseas colleagues
