Identify and secure new business opportunities in the Army Aviation marketplace
Develop and implement customer and market penetration strategies, account plans, and technology development initiatives
Act as a liaison with government agencies and offices to remain competitive and aligned with market needs
Lead capture efforts and oversee the creation of proposals, whitepapers, and technical demonstrations
Drive internal alignment on solutions across technical and delivery teams
Establish and maintain relationships with senior government stakeholders
Mentor junior growth professionals and contribute to building a high-performing Growth organization
Requirements
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 16+ years of experience or a Master’s with 14+ years of experience in business development, capture, or growth within the Aerospace and Defense industry
Recognized industry specialist with extensive technical expertise across multiple disciplines
Proven track record of identifying and leading successful business development and capture efforts in the government marketplace
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with experience driving long-range business initiatives
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage government officials and key stakeholders
Ability to analyze market trends, develop innovative business solutions, and position the company for growth
Demonstrated success in winning and shaping complex DoD opportunities
Experience with product-based or manufacturing-focused solutions in defense or national security markets
Strong understanding of non-traditional acquisition pathways (OTA, CSO)
Proven ability to build relationships with government, OEMs and industry stakeholders
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
Experience with translating drawings and TDPs into a consolidated BOM
