About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bank's Automated Clearing House (ACH) network
- Manage an operating team of approximately 12 to 18 associates and two direct reports
- Drive the achievement of individual, team, and business metric goals
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to influence results
- Ensure processes remain "well-managed" through proactive risk mitigation and strategic project management
- Oversee the daily processing of ACH transactions, including data validation and settlement
- Manage hourly, daily, and monthly transaction monitoring
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex exceptions
- Actively monitor department performance to ensure service levels are met or exceeded
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports and associates
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance
- Monitor for fraudulent activity and implement controls to minimize risk
- Analyze operational procedures to recommend modifications
- Generate comprehensive reports on activity and performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
- At least 5 years of People Management experience
- At least 3 years of process or project management experience
- At least 3 years of experience in ACH operations
- At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience delivering large-scale initiatives in support of organizational change (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience working in payments (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams within an organization (preferred)
- At least 7 years of People Management experience (preferred)
- At least 7 years of Process Management experience (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience with relationship management (preferred)
