About this role
Role Overview
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bank's Automated Clearing House (ACH) network
Manage an operating team of approximately 12 to 18 associates and two direct reports
Drive the achievement of individual, team, and business metric goals
Collaborate with leaders across the organization to influence results
Ensure processes remain "well-managed" through proactive risk mitigation and strategic project management
Oversee the daily processing of ACH transactions, including data validation and settlement
Manage hourly, daily, and monthly transaction monitoring
Lead the investigation and resolution of complex exceptions
Actively monitor department performance to ensure service levels are met or exceeded
Manage, coach, and develop direct reports and associates
Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance
Monitor for fraudulent activity and implement controls to minimize risk
Analyze operational procedures to recommend modifications
Generate comprehensive reports on activity and performance metrics
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of People Management experience
At least 3 years of process or project management experience
At least 3 years of experience in ACH operations
At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients
Master’s Degree (preferred)
PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
At least 2 years of experience delivering large-scale initiatives in support of organizational change (preferred)
At least 5 years of experience working in payments (preferred)
At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit (preferred)
At least 5 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams within an organization (preferred)
At least 7 years of People Management experience (preferred)
At least 7 years of Process Management experience (preferred)
At least 3 years of experience with relationship management (preferred)
