Role Overview

• Manages within the sub-function or related sub-functions.
• Typically a highly experienced manager.
• Decisions tend to be more tactical and operational.
• Geographic scope of operation tends to be at the country level.
• Typically accountable for budget.
• Highly experienced in IT security management.
• Incorporates strategic and policy development aspects that will have medium-term consequences on the operation of the function and perhaps impact elements of organization performance.
• Directs a range of IT security management function through section heads.
• Key member in the formulation of IT security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for the implementation of company-wide IT security policies and procedures.
• Responsible for developing, communicating, implementing, enforcing, and monitoring security controls to protect the organisation’s technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.

Requirements

• Associates Degree (± 13 years)
• Minimum 7 years of hands on experience including director-level experience
