Provide therapeutic counselling to individuals ages 12+ who have experienced sexual assault and sexual abuse as well as their loved ones/support people, in person or via telehealth
Conduct a variety of risk assessments, including suicide, domestic violence, child welfare, and shelter/safety
Complete various responsibilities of clinical case management, including case notes, supporting documentation, consultation, and referrals
Participate in individual as well as team supervision
May provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals on CCASA’s Support & Information Line
Requirements
Must be enrolled in a Master of Social Work (Clinical Specialization) or Master of Counselling program
Must be able to be supervised by a Social Worker (MSW)
Successful candidates must satisfy and receive clear results for a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Check.
