Proactively engage with existing employer stakeholders and identify/influence emerging employer stakeholders across the US.
Identify insights, positions and potential impact of new and emerging employer stakeholders and vendors.
Build proactive share of voice with employer customers and influencers on Rx management topics.
Support and contribute to internal Strategy Teams regarding emerging strategies and identification of external SMEs.
Collaborate with Government Affairs/Policy/Strategy Directors to connect and convene with new and emerging stakeholders and advocates.
Work in conjunction with Employer Team Director and Marketing Director relative to employer channel resource development and messaging.
Develop and deliver stakeholder appropriate resources to support access for the expanding AbbVie portfolio.
Cultivate national employer KOLs and advocates to help shape external education and policy in collaboration with Government Affairs/Policy/Strategy teams.
Monitor, inform and deliver market insights to internal business partners.
Lead education initiatives in conjunction with Market Access Training on key trends impacting purchasers and AbbVie access/gross-to-net.
Establish AbbVie as credible source for non-branded information and disseminate via industry meetings and electronic sites / social media (consistent with AbbVie Communications/PR guidelines).
Support efforts to integrate Employer Strategy into AbbVie Business Planning process.
Assist AbbVie Employer Corporate Account Team Leader with managing budget and execution of sponsorships and memberships, consistent with AbbVie Office of Ethics and Compliance guidelines.
Establish AbbVie as a national leader and key partner in the employer channel.
Work with Big 3 PBM/GPO KAM teams and respective rebate analysts to ensure contract compliance.
Quantify volume/sales associated with employer child accounts and access changes.
Participate in internal task forces relating to member/patient access.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of Account Executive or Market Access experience within the healthcare industry;
Proven ability to operate effectively in large, complex geographies, influence diverse stakeholders, and deliver commercial results.
Demonstrated capability in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning/development and execution.
Strong analytical skills, especially related to Rx contract terms/language and the commercial payor market.
Effective communication and presentation skills (written and oral) with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience managing complexity and collaborating with cross-functional, matrixed teams; agility and team-orientation required.
Customer-centric approach and proven ability to act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and identify/influence key customers.
Understanding of the evolving healthcare environment—including ACA, CAA, ERISA, clinical guidelines, and formulary/utilization management.
