About this role
Role Overview
Timely processing of invoices for assigned hotels
Use financial systems to monitor flow of invoices
Process invoices in accordance with HEI SOPs
Resolve vendor and team inquiries
Process payments ensuring all applicable approvals
Match purchase orders to submitted invoices
Validate invoice data for accuracy
Record vendor ACH payments daily
Process hotel utility invoices daily
Maintain AP Distribution Sets for consistent coding across hotels
Handle vendor inquiries and reconcile statements
Process off cycle checks from hotels
Assist with supplier creation
Perform established month-end closing tasks
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel or hospitality related Finance and Accounting
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work with both internal and external customers
Keen eye for detail
Computer oriented and able to meet deadlines
Ability to solve complex problems
Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences
