Lead the development and growth of strategic church and faith-based partnerships that advance Food for the Hungry’s mission.
Translate organizational priorities into meaningful, mutually beneficial engagement strategies that mobilize churches through giving, advocacy, prayer, and active participation in global impact initiatives.
Build trusted relationships with pastors, church leaders, and faith influencers.
Strengthen long-term partnerships and drive sustainable revenue growth within the faith sector.
Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand and strengthen the faith partnership portfolio in alignment with organizational priorities.
Proactively identify, cultivate, and secure new church and faith-based partners to achieve defined revenue and engagement targets.
Manage a defined portfolio of partners through intentional prospecting, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and renewal strategies.
Establish annual revenue and engagement goals, maintaining a healthy pipeline to support sustainable growth.
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and events to advance partnership conversations and close opportunities.
Monitor portfolio performance, forecast revenue, and adjust strategies to achieve or exceed targets.
Design and deliver a high-quality, personalized partner experience that deepens engagement, trust, and long-term commitment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Ministry, Theology, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in church relations, faith-based fundraising, ministry leadership, or nonprofit partnership management
Demonstrated success cultivating and growing strategic partnerships or revenue portfolios
Experience presenting to church audiences or ministry leaders
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent platforms
Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends
Personal alignment with Christian faith and commitment to Food for the Hungry’s mission
Experience in international development or global relief contexts preferred
Pastoral, ministry, or theological training considered an asset
