Role Overview
- Provide technical support (Level 2/3), performing analysis and resolution of critical network incidents
- Propose and implement improvements to network architecture focused on performance, availability, and security
- Administer and configure medium and large-scale Cisco equipment, including L3 switches, edge routers, access points, and WLCs
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of protocols such as OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, QoS, and NAT
- Support deployment, migration, and expansion projects for local and remote networks
- Integrate and collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams, supporting strategic decisions
- Provide technical leadership for critical incidents and mentor junior and mid-level team members when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Networking, Engineering, IT, or related fields
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification
- Strong experience with Cisco equipment and highly complex networks
- Proficiency in dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching protocols (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel), ACLs, and QoS
- Experience with network security (VPNs, port-security, SDN technologies such as SD-WAN and SD-Access, DNAC)
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS and IP networking (IPv4/IPv6)
- Ability to provide technical leadership and operate in critical environments
- Intermediate to advanced English for interactions with vendors and manufacturers
