Deliver finance-related modules as deemed appropriate by your Head of Faculty
Coordinate the smooth delivery of modules across a particular Year
Work proactively in improving existing programmes
Contribute to the design and development of new programmes
Carry out assessment, monitoring and evaluation of examination and continuous assessment, and provide academic guidance and support to students
Participate in internal departmental and multi-disciplinary committees and external meetings as required.
Manage the development/delivery of programme
Review modules on a semesterised basis and contribute to the annual programme review
Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of academic quality assurance policies
Maintain the academic integrity of the faculty’s business programmes
Meet with students to discuss progression and performance
Review student queries regarding continuous assessment, exams, grades, etc.
Participate and contribute at exam board meetings
Liaise with admissions office regarding new learners
Attend open evenings and other College promotional events
Requirements
Candidates must have a master’s degree qualification (Level 9) in finance/management/accounting-related areas or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA)
Relevant professional/industry experience in finance is desirable but not essential
Relevant teaching experience in finance at third level would be advantageous
Be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
Have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Be committed to educational quality and student support
Willing to work effectively as part of an integrated team
A Teaching and Learning qualification would be advantageous
