Role Overview
- Join a highly specialized team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Designers within Mine Hoist Division.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of mine hoisting systems.
- Prepare detailed drafting designs, conduct site visits for inspections and data collection.
- Support project coordination across multiple active engagements.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to maintain accurate technical records.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and assist in the execution of project tasks.
- Report progress, manage time commitments, and support procurement, commissioning, and testing activities.
Requirements
- A diploma in mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field is required.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience is required.
- Working towards Certified Engineering Technician (CET) Certification is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of industry codes and regulations is desirable.
- Familiarity with drafting and design software tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable design practices.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Valid Passport required, with the ability to travel in North America.
