Prepare solicitations including RFQ, RFP, and RFI activities from prospective subcontractors and employing various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability.
Managing Supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones
Monitoring and reporting cost, schedule and status of suppliers and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary.
Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms).
Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity.
Monitor subcontractor performance metrics and recommend/implement corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Experience with supplier management.
Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.).
Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow downs).
Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders and leading executive and program level supplier reviews
U.S. Citizen
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Master’s degree in supply chain, Business Finance or STEM field preferred.
Experience in the defense industry.
Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance.
Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcome (i.e., multi-task).
Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes and projects.
