About this role
Role Overview
Utilize professional selling techniques and product knowledge to market MAHLE products to Key Warehouse Distributors
Manage all aspects of the customer base to develop additional new business
Establish effective, long-term relationships
Lead business planning and strategy determination for sales growth
Perform market research on various products & competitors
Make recommendations on sales promotions
Interact with key cross-functional areas such as Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain
Provide training on MAHLE product technology as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
Typically requires a minimum of 3-7 years previous Automotive Aftermarket Sales or related experience
Knowledge of gaskets, engine parts, filters, and turbocharger applications
Experience and understanding of the aftermarket distribution channels (Warehouse Distributor, Engine Parts Specialist)
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify and sell win-win scenarios
Must be a results-oriented, self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Demonstrated track record of working with customers, peers, and management to accomplish both long
and short-term goals
Strong time management skills
Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
