Plan, execute and analyze physical tests to ensure component performance in accordance with VW criteria and independent institutes;
Analyze data related to the application, materials and behavior of bumpers, guides, foams and radiator supports, and their interface with other vehicle components such as covers, fenders, latches, side panels, etc.;
Analyze functions and technologies for vehicle electrification;
Participate in technical meetings with national and international suppliers and maintain frequent contact with VW colleagues in Wolfsburg (Germany).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering;
Experience in conducting and analyzing automotive component tests;
Advanced proficiency in English;
Valid Category B driver's license (car);
Availability for domestic and international travel.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Volkswagen Group systems such as PEP, AVON, NOLIS, VW/TL standards, KVS, ETKA, Be-On, KPM, System 42 and ODIS;
Intermediate proficiency in German.
