Be the “front line” client support for a variety of engineering design engineering design applications, with an initial focus on Smart 3D
Maintain Smart 3D computing environments through installation and administration of Smart 3D applications, host servers and databases
Work with other SmartPlant Analysts and Engineering teams to provide additional testing, training, troubleshooting and documentation in respect of Smart 3D
Work with other SmartPlant Analysts and Engineering teams to investigate, test, and deploy new applications and technologies to benefit the design engineering community
Document work processes for all levels of Smart 3D use and support (end users and other CAD systems specialists)
Communications, coordination, documentation, minor project management and advanced troubleshooting
Requirements
An Engineering Degree (or equivalent: specialized training, certification, or appropriate work experience)
Experience supporting Smart 3D for 5+ years
Experience with a Smart Enterprise integrated tool environment
Experience using or supporting one or more of the following tools: SmartPlant PID, SmartPlant Foundation, Bentley MicroStation preferred, but not required
Experience working in a Citrix environment
An ability to independently assess and prioritize competing urgent issues, whilst identifying areas for improvement in design processes and assisting in creating and implementing said solutions
General understanding of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and processes
