Own and maintain the platform services roadmap, translating operating company needs and architectural standards into a strategic sequencing of platform capabilities.
Serve as the primary product interface between the platform team and operating company engineering and product leaders, managing competing priorities across multiple business units.
Build and run the agile planning process by which operating companies request platform capabilities, ensuring requests are prioritized consistently against the roadmap and strategic priorities.
Own the developer experience end-to-end: documentation, API references, getting-started guides, onboarding programs, developer relations, and feedback loops that drive platform adoption and surface unmet needs back to the platform engineering team.
Define and track platform success metrics that quantify the value the platform delivers to operating companies and the business.
Requirements
15+ years in product management, with at least 8 years focused on platform, infrastructure, or developer tools products and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated experience serving multiple business units or product lines from a shared platform, with a track record of navigating multi-stakeholder prioritization.
Proven ownership of developer experience and adoption programs — documentation, developer relations, onboarding — with measurable adoption outcomes.
Strong technical fluency; able to engage meaningfully with engineers on API design, system architecture, and infrastructure decisions.
Experience with AI-assisted software delivery practices and an understanding of how they accelerate product development workflows.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries — from executive presentations to engineering working sessions to operating company stakeholder alignment.
