Client Accountant

Role Overview

• Managing the day‑to‑day integrity of client ledgers and reviewing bookkeeper input
• Preparing routine month‑end and quarter‑end management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting workings
• Acting as the central point of contact for external auditors
• Preparing and reviewing audit support schedules and documentation
• Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
• Developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and service line development
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant policies, procedures, and controls

Requirements

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Ideally a few years’ experience
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Proactive attitude
• Experience in client accounting or accounts preparation is preferred
• Knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate, or Debt Capital Markets accounting environments is desirable but not essential
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills
• Ability to prioritise competing demands
