Role Overview
- Performs advanced billing and collection activities
- Acts as Lead IBC Assistant
- Makes collection calls, verifying accuracy and completeness of claims
- Contacts insurance companies and collection agencies in regards to expediting payments
- Handles discounts, adjustments and charge corrections
- Performs collection follow-up duties on specific financial classifications
- Reviews remittance advises for rejection and accuracy of payment amounts
- Verifies accuracy and completeness of charge tickets
- Monitors attachments for claims to obtain maximum reimbursements
- Responds to questions and requests from Insurance companies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- Billing Or Insurance (3 Years)
