Role Overview
Performs advanced billing and collection activities
Acts as Lead IBC Assistant
Makes collection calls, verifying accuracy and completeness of claims
Contacts insurance companies and collection agencies in regards to expediting payments
Handles discounts, adjustments and charge corrections
Performs collection follow-up duties on specific financial classifications
Reviews remittance advises for rejection and accuracy of payment amounts
Verifies accuracy and completeness of charge tickets
Monitors attachments for claims to obtain maximum reimbursements
Responds to questions and requests from Insurance companies
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
Billing Or Insurance (3 Years)
