Plan, control and monitor CAPEX projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget and scope;
Prepare and update detailed schedules using MS Project, following planning best practices;
Develop and track physical and financial progress curves (planned, actual and forecast);
Prepare executive presentations and management reports for leadership and the Board;
Conduct audits of contractors' schedules, assessing consistency, reliability and accuracy of information;
Participate in procurement processes in partnership with Procurement, including:
participation in drafting tender documents (planning chapter);
technical evaluation of proposals;
issuance of purchase requisitions (PRs) and acceptance forms in the system (SAP);
monitoring approval workflows;
Develop and monitor planning performance indicators (KPIs), identifying deviations and proposing improvements;
Manage investment costs;
Interface with Engineering, monitoring activities and reviewing technical documentation;
Prepare reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint;
Control documentation for project initiation, execution and closure, ensuring standardization and traceability;
Record, analyze and formalize scope changes, ensuring planning baselines are updated;
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deadlines, scope and decisions;
Conduct site technical visits to validate actual progress versus planned;
Support the development and mentoring of more junior team members;
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and the company's Code of Conduct.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business Administration or related fields)
Proven experience in project and construction planning and cost management;
Experience with procurement processes and interface with Procurement;
Knowledge of SAP;
Advanced MS Project skills;
Power BI;
Basic English;
MBA or specialization in Project Management or related areas (preferred);
Advanced English (advantage);
Knowledge of Power Apps (advantage);
Advanced Microsoft Office (advantage);
Experience developing KPIs and dashboards (advantage);
Experience in engineering firms, consultancy, industry or mining (advantage).
