About this role
Role Overview
Ensure compliance with applicable US or Canadian employment laws and internal HR policies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
Support onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations processes
Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance readiness at all times
Collaborate closely with payroll and finance teams for timely and accurate processing
Requirements
3 years of experience in HR and Payroll Compliance within US or Canada
Strong understanding of: US labor laws and payroll regulations or Canadian employment standards and payroll compliance
Demonstrated experience in: Employee records management Benefits administration Claims tracking and documentation Payroll compliance processes
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
Professional HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent
Benefits
Administer employee benefits programs including health and insurance coverage
Manage and track employee claims and ensure accurate documentation
Respond to employee queries related to benefits and entitlements
Liaise with external vendors and service providers as required
