Work stream leader for limited operational project activities, serving as point of contact and liaison for activities within the scope of work stream.
Contact with internal and external customers and limited interface with other facility groups and departments including mid/upper management.
Coordinates field walk downs to establish/verify as-is condition prior to project work stream implementation, and in support of routine housekeeping, facility safety inspections of project installed equipment, and other walk downs requested by internal and external customers, and as required to successfully complete the project work stream.
Prepares and maintains detailed scope documentation for project work stream modifications.
Maintains an awareness of scheduled project work and requests the resources, parts and paperwork necessary to meet task readiness and coordinates the field work through to completion under close supervision.
May represent the project team in status, integration or other meetings.
Builds comprehensive knowledge of ISMS work steps (Scope, Analyze Hazards, Identify Controls, Perform Work, Feedback).
Stays current on changing work practices and policies.
Reviews and escalates documents necessary to expedite work prior to submitting for approval including design packages, field implementation packages, new operating procedures and associated training.
May assist in integrating project schedule activities into the facility scheduling programs (i.e. POW, lock-in and long-range planning).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical or science discipline and practical experience in operations/maintenance, project or technical area as defined in the job description OR High School Diploma/GED and practical experience in operations/maintenance, project or technical area as defined in the job description
Ability to understand and interpret various electrical and mechanical documents, blueprints, drawings and schematics.
General knowledge of site work control procedures and work practices and procedures for maintenance, operations, construction and project related areas.
General knowledge of general or specific safety, environmental, regulatory, safeguards, security, emergency preparedness programs, policies, practices and guidelines.
General knowledge of schedules and schedule integration including support resources required to accomplish tasks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
Radiological worker trained.
