Accounts Payable Specialist

Role Overview

• Providing accounts payable support and general support to the Accounting Department.
• Collaborating with all members of the accounting team and vendors.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Entering vouchers with appropriate account coding.
• Assisting with preparation of check disbursements.
• Researching vendor statements and invoices for accuracy.
• Coordinating invoice coding and approval with Project Managers.
• Responding to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Performing data entry and monthly reconciliations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years’ related accounts payable or general accounting experience and/or training
• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Business Central
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
