Operations Coordinator, Processing Facilities

Role Overview

• Ensure the waste database is up-to-date with actual waste in inventory
• Plan and oversee all necessary processing onsite waste in preparation for shipment
• Create and monitor waste handling requests
• Plan, label, and schedule outbound loads with receivers
• Create Work Orders and CSA lines in OMS for outbound waste
• Produce weekly oil reports
• Assist with MHSW program submissions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in office administration
• Experience in transportation or waste management industry setting would be an asset
• Knowledge of Regulation 347: General – Waste Management and Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Minimum intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Effective verbal and written communicator
• Ability to prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
• Ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events
• Motivated, able to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment
• Detail oriented and results oriented
• Ability to design and execute work & project plans
