Role Overview
- Lead a team of tax professionals in administering the US income tax compliance
- Manage the global income tax compliance calendar
- Propose strategies for reducing corporate tax burden
- Provide performance management, training, and guidance to the Direct Tax team
- Assist tax management in maintaining relationships with external consultants
- Manage preparation and review of income tax and franchise tax compliance
- Prepare/review quarterly and annual tax provision components
- Coordinate federal and state income tax audits
- Research tax issues and communicate conclusions to management
- Monitor new US tax legislation and determine its impact
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant direct tax experience
- Strong knowledge of the accounting for income tax rules under ASC 740
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills
