You manage pricing and profitability developments for your category and make margin-focused decisions.
You analyze the market and consumer needs, identify trends early, and derive concrete actions.
You ensure excellent go-to-market and launch execution – in close cooperation with local marketing and all relevant interfaces.
You are responsible for defining, maintaining and continuously optimizing the product assortment for core and tactical brands.
You ensure complete, up-to-date and consistent product data in all relevant internal systems.
You regularly produce category reports and KPI analyses to manage performance.
You convey product knowledge through train-the-trainer formats and represent the category at trade shows.
You act as the central interface between central Product Line Management and the Commercial Area to ensure consistent strategy implementation.
You collaborate with external testing institutes to increase the visibility and presence of our brands in relevant publications.
Requirements
Degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in product or category management, ideally in technical consumer goods.
Affinity for product development and market launch processes.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Confident use of modern IT tools and common market research instruments.
Strong analytical and strategic skills and the ability to translate complex data into effective actions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High level of initiative, entrepreneurial thinking and a strong drive to shape outcomes.
Very good written and spoken German and English.
