Play a hands‑on role in helping to maintain our Water Distribution Network
Learn how our operational processes work and gain the skills required to support the delivery of our Water Quality and Water Aesthetics programmes
Work closely with Maintenance Managers, technicians, planners and scientific teams
Help deliver planned maintenance, network surveys, asset inspections, water sampling and flushing activities
Work outdoors across a wide area, operating underground assets
Use digital tools to record and update information
Provide customer‑focused support during water‑related incidents

A practical, hands‑on approach and enjoyment of working outdoors all year round
Willingness to learn about the Water Distribution Network and water quality processes
Ability to work safely in line with Anglian Water’s Health & Safety standards
Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
Confidence using digital devices to record data and update network information
Ability to work flexibly, including participation in out‑of‑hours activity when required
A positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and development
Ability to travel around the region as part of day‑to‑day duties
