Role Overview
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns
- Obtain complete histories and perform pertinent physical exams
- Perform or request and evaluate diagnostic studies as indicated
- Administer medications according to formulary protocol
- Order and collect specimens for routine laboratory tests
- Initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges
Requirements
- Master degree as NP or Graduate of a PA program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.
