Provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and exercises independent judgment in completing duties and responsibilities.
Assists in directing and coordinating the processing of licensing of applicants for initial licensure.
Evaluates and analyzes licensure applications by applying a logical understanding of business practices and regulatory procedures.
Works directly with applicants and licensees to provide regular updates and information on the status of their applications via phone and electronic communication.
Prepares legal notices of Committee meetings to applicants in advance of scheduled meetings.
Requirements
Must be physically present in the office to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities.
Ability to compile, organize and analyze data.
Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve complaints.
Ability to understand and apply Florida Statutes, rules, policies and procedures for licensing and regulation of professionals and consumer protection.
Ability to provide consultative assistance to others.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
