About this role

Own and lead special projects across finance and accounting in collaboration with the Controller
Act as project manager for accounting-led initiatives with guidance from the Controller
Serve as primary owner of technical accounting matters with Controller oversight
Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all entities aligned with Controller guidance
Act as primary reviewer and trainer for staff accountants across functional areas working closely with the Controller

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s a plus)
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownership
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and practical application in a corporate environment
Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Proven ability to manage the full monthly close process under tight deadlines
Experience with revenue recognition and accrual accounting (ASC 606 exposure preferred)
Familiarity with lease accounting (ASC 842) and fixed asset accounting a plus
Experience supporting audits and working directly with external auditors
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)
Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Workday Financials, QuickBooks, or similar ERP platforms
