About this role

Participate in refinement meetings to understand requirements and prepare technical documentation for the engineering team;
Topology Design: Define the ideal integration pattern for each scenario (Point-to-Point, Hub-and-Spoke, Event-Driven, or Service Mesh);
API Strategy: Lead the API lifecycle (API First), defining contracts (Swagger/OAS), security policies (OAuth, rate limiting) and governance;
Data Mapping: Ensure the integrity and transformation of data between different object models (e.g., transforming a JSON from a proprietary system to Salesforce’s data model);
Monitoring and Resilience: Design error-handling mechanisms, retry strategies and logging to ensure no transactions are lost.

Integration Patterns: Deep expertise in REST, SOAP, webhooks, Pub/Sub and ETL/ELT;
Security: Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization (mTLS, JWT, API keys);
Cloud & On-premises: Experience with hybrid architectures (connecting cloud systems with on-premises systems);
Modeling: Experience with diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Visio) to document complex integration flows and C4 modeling;
Differentials: Experience with event-driven architecture (EDA) and Kafka;
Knowledge of microservices and Service Bus.
