About this role

Procure equipment and materials as identified by individual task orders in support of GSMO-3 mission operations and engineering development initiatives
Find qualified vendors, get multiple quotes with quality clauses included
Work issues in parallel to expedite the process, calling vendors to check progress, placing orders, receiving orders
Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication, and mitigation of future potential problems

Bachelor’s Degree
7 + years of procurement experience
In lieu of formal education 15 years of related procurement experience
Experience working procurements for Government customers
Broad understanding of procurement standards, procedures, and regulations
Experience finding qualified vendors, getting multiple quotes with quality clauses included
Familiarity with FAR requirements
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Self-motivated, self-directed and detail oriented
