Provide pre-sales technical sales for complex service provider networks.
Craft solutions designed to meet and exceed customer’s business requirements.
Manage the technical close ensuring customer satisfaction with the technical sales process.
Partner with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements.
Proactively drive the customer technology decision process to closure.
Create and define a Technology Roadmap for Tier-1 mobility service provider.
Interact with internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s degree in engineering or related field, OR significant experience in networking technical and pre-sales activities roles.
Minimum of 6+ years of technical professional, pre-sales/post-sales work experience.
Expert level knowledge in routing technologies.
Knowledge of routing protocols including MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, etc. is a MUST.
Experience in areas: Security, Automation, Cloud/DC, Network Virtualization.
History of working with Service Provider networks in a technical/pre-sales role.
Specific Networking certifications (HPE, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)
Knowledge/curiosity about network automation, virtualization, agentic AI, and MCP.
Knowledge in automation using Python, Ansible, Netconf-YANG, JSON, Openconfig, etc. is desirable.
Experienced in creating solutions spanning multiple product and service portfolios in a competitive market.
Effective communicator with strong customer-facing skills who can translate product knowledge into business value.
