Role Overview
- Reporting to the Office Director and liaising with chartered accountants
- Managing a client portfolio (sole proprietors, tradespeople, and commercial companies)
- Preparation of VAT returns, annual financial statements and corporate tax packages
- Preparation of income tax returns
- Providing first-line tax advice
- Delivering local advisory services and managing client relationships
- Contributing to the development of best practices within the firm
- Training and mentoring junior staff
Requirements
- Degree level: Bachelor's to Master's (Bac+3 to Bac+5)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in an accounting firm
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Curious, organized and methodical
- Strong communication skills and recognised interpersonal qualities
- Interest in digital tools and technologies
