Set and execute a national sales strategy aligned with Metrohm Canada’s growth objectives, translating corporate goals into actionable regional plans while owning forecasting, pipeline performance, CRM discipline, and revenue delivery.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national sales organization, setting clear expectations, building territorial business plans, set clear KPIs and accountability frameworks, and fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Act as a senior commercial leader with key and strategic customers, supporting complex opportunities, strengthening value-based selling, and adapting strategy based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, Applications, Service, and Technical Support to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach, effective handoffs, and consistent messaging across the customer lifecycle.
Own national sales budgets, forecasting, pricing discipline, and margin performance while contributing to annual business planning, executive reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Canadian employment practices.
Requirements
8–12+ years of progressive sales experience, including senior sales leadership roles
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline required
MBA or master’s degree preferred
Strong background selling scientific instrumentation, laboratory solutions, or technical capital equipment
Proven success leading a national or multi-regional sales organization
Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
High level of business, financial, and forecasting acumen
Understanding of laboratory science and analytical chemistry
Based in Ontario with regular national travel required
