Identify and assess potential sites for large-scale data center developments across Denmark
Evaluate sites against data center–specific criteria including power availability, grid access, zoning, environmental constraints, and scalability
Engage with municipalities, energy providers, TSOs/DSOs, and business developers to explore and mature opportunities
Lead site-level due diligence covering technical, legal, environmental, and commercial aspects
Navigate Swedish regulatory frameworks related to land use, energy applications, permitting, and governance
Manage documentation and approvals required for internal investment decisions and atNorth’s gating process
Prepare decision material and present site assessments to internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate closely with internal teams across development, energy, legal, sustainability, and construction as well as collaborate with external consultants as needed.
Support long-term landbank strategy and contribute to continuous improvement of site selection processes
Requirements
Proven track record in site selection and development within data centers, energy infrastructure, or large-scale technical real estate.
Deep understanding of Swedish planning regulations, zoning, and the administrative processes required for industrial development.
Strong knowledge of the Swedish energy landscape, specifically regarding grid access and permitting.
Experience with land transactions, valuation, real estate contracts, and legal due diligence.
Strong project management skills with the ability to drive momentum across parallel work-streams.
Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory.
Experience working in a Nordic or international context is an advantage.
