Role Overview
- Managing the end-to-end procurement life cycle
- Maximising value for GCAA's 13x operational Coal mines across New South Wales and Queensland
- Focusing on the categories of Labour (Trades) and Services
- Analyse spend data and market intelligence to develop appropriate sourcing strategies
- Perform tendering exercises of initiatives, including negotiation, contract drafting and contract implementation
- Implement appropriate supplier relationship management processes to drive value from contracts
- Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with relevant functional departments, site stakeholders and key personnel
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable Policies, Guidelines, Laws, Regulations and Statutory Obligations
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract negotiations
- Mining and resources sector preferred
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, legal or related engineering field
- CIPS recognition highly desirable
- High Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Experience with Contract Management systems and SAP (or similar ERP systems)
