Identify, develop, and close new customer opportunities across Europe within oil & gas, petrochemical, and process industries, with future focus on pharmaceuticals.
Drive business development for Honeywell’s software, digital, AI, and autonomous solutions portfolio using a solution‑selling approach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new customers, key decision‑makers, and influencers at both technical and executive levels.
Act as an individual contributor while closely collaborating with regional sales, presales, and technical teams to support deal progression and closure.
Understand customer operational challenges and translate them into value‑based Honeywell software and AI solutions.
Develop and execute territory and account strategies focused on pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, and revenue growth.
Maintain a strong understanding of process chemical industries, customer workflows, and operational technology environments.
Represent Honeywell at customer meetings, industry events, and regional forums, supporting thought leadership and market presence.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities and refine go‑to‑market strategies.
Support forecasting, opportunity tracking, and reporting to ensure alignment with regional business objectives and AOP targets.
Requirements
Proven experience selling autonomous operations, software, or digital solutions to oil & gas, petrochemical, or process industry customers.
Strong background in business development with a demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close new customer opportunities.
Experience with automation, process control, digitalization, or industrial software solutions.
Strong customer‑centric mindset with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions clearly.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Practical knowledge of AI concepts and applications within industrial or operational environments.
Strong understanding of process chemical industries and customer operational challenges.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across technical and executive audiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, technical experts, and leadership in a matrix organization.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe (up to 70%).
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage.
