Design and implement scalable and secure Workday security models across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc and Workday Adaptive.
Lead security architecture reviews and provide strategic guidance on security best practices.
Ensure Workday security and cybersecurity controls across Workday applications (including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and other modules, Workday Adaptive, Customer Central, etc)
Lead Workday security/cyber security audits, risk assessments, findings, and remediation efforts.
Ensure compliance with internal governance (e.g., GCS, Data Privacy, ESDLC) and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
Collaborate with HR, Global Cyber Security, Global Technology Services, Data Privacy Office, and Compliance teams to align security practices with business needs.
Maintain documentation for security configurations, access controls, and compliance procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday security incidents and escalations.
Manage a team of three and support cross-functional security initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field.
8–10+ years of experience in enterprise application security, with 5+ years in Workday security.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills and experience including managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Expert hands-on experience with Workday security configuration and architecture.
Strong critical thinking, risk management, and communication skills.
Familiarity with data privacy laws and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Pro in Security) preferred.
