Role Overview
- Develop consumer story angles and PR initiatives for standout coverage
- Support integrated communications plans across various teams
- Work closely with U.S. Media Relations team on activities
- Identify opportunities to drive brand love through earned media
- Draft press releases for consumer PR initiatives
- Develop talking points for press interviews
- Monitor industry and competitor media coverage
- Manage global tentpole PR campaigns and liaise with global colleagues
- Manage coverage reports and provide business event progress updates
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in PR, media relations or a communications role
- Action-driven and like to get things done
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to synthesize data into logical conclusions and recommendations
- Experience in media relations with understanding of media landscape
- Strong teambuilding and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively and adapt quickly
- Consumer product and/or travel industry experience preferred
