About this role
Role Overview
Operate and support Citrix Cloud environments (delivery groups, catalogs, policies) and ensure user access to apps/desktops
Maintain and support legacy Citrix components (Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, license servers) during migration/retirement
Monitor Cloud Connectors, VDAs, and overall service availability; act on alerts and advisories
Patch and update VDA/golden images; validate application delivery, profiles, and session stability
Troubleshoot logon performance, session issues, and profile management (e.g. FSLogix); document fixes
Manage access integrations (IdP, MFA) and coordinate with Citrix ADC for gateway, traffic, and certificate changes
Maintain image pipelines, application layering, and operational runbooks
Ensure monitoring and logging (including SIEM integration) across all Citrix layers
Support onboarding of applications, testing, and user pilots
Participate in DR testing (failover scenarios, control plane loss) and document outcomes
Maintain inventories, capacity planning, license tracking, and provide weekly KPIs
Requirements
Experience with Citrix Cloud administration (delivery groups, catalogs, policies) and VDA management
Strong knowledge of on-prem Citrix environments and migration practices
Familiarity with NetScaler/Citrix ADC, gateway configurations, and MFA/IdP integrations
Experience with profile management (FSLogix/UPM) and session performance tuning
Understanding of monitoring/telemetry across brokering and session layers
Experience with application layering concepts and deployment strategies
Knowledge of certificate/TLS handling and identity integrations
Familiarity with capacity planning, load balancing, and optimization
Experience with ITSM/change processes, documentation, and user communication
Understanding of decommissioning, governance, and operational best practices.
