About this role
Role Overview
Focus 80%+ of your time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects.
Represent Applause with integrity, passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the product’s features and benefits.
Help cold prospects understand the value of Applause software, building awareness and interest.
Set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects to meet with AEs, facilitating pipeline growth.
Call trade show attendees, encourage booth visits, and follow up to nurture leads.
Requirements
1–2+ years of experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR quotas.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage SMB decision-makers effectively.
Familiarity with using sales CRMs (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage prospecting and pipeline activities.
Comfortable making 200+ outbound calls per day in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance high activity levels with effective follow-ups.
Proven ability to work in a remote environment with excellent time management, a reliable internet connection, and zero noticeable latency.
Ability to work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM – 7 PM EST to support client needs and outreach strategies.
