Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects
Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Reviews status of projects and budgets
Manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Support Deckplate leaders in ongoing continuous improvement efforts that satisfy requirements for the Critical Process Management Plans (CPMP) and the Self-Assessment Program as a part of our Quality Management System
Regularly attend CPMP council meetings to influence self-assessment efforts
Serve as liaison between O07 Process Enterprise Assessment and trades leadership to help develop Self-Assessments as scheduled
Provide timely and relevant evaluations/feedback on improvement efforts
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate or Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
