About this role
Role Overview
Own the end-to-end business development cycle, from lead generation through to deal closure
Identify and generate new leads through research, outreach, and networking across multiple channels (calls, emails, meetings, social media)
Develop and execute strategies to expand into new markets and territories
Build and maintain a strong pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets
Drive consistent revenue growth through proactive opportunity management and strategic sales execution
Develop and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients to identify growth opportunities
Understand client needs and tailor software solutions to align with their objectives
Engage and present to senior stakeholders, delivering compelling value propositions
Lead product demonstrations that clearly communicate solution benefits and ROI
Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and pitches
Negotiate and close contracts to achieve or exceed sales targets
Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns, messaging, and product positioning
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline updates and sales forecasts to leadership
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and partnerships
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Experience selling software solutions and delivering live product demonstrations
Strong experience presenting to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
