Role Overview
- Focus on locally managed region concept segment across the enterprise
- Work with local sales reps to support market needs
- Collaborate with National Sales teams for prospect and pipeline management
- Support acquisition of new high-profile clients
- Coordinate resources to secure business agreements
- Analyze new business opportunities within segment
- Develop customer solutions that differentiate US Foods
- Research key targets in each market
- Drive adoption of SOUS and monitor pipeline effectiveness
- Communicate effectively with sales personnel and support staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in food service sales
- 3 years of experience in new business sales for multi-unit and multi-state customers
- Demonstrated success with customer prospecting and interfacing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-directed with strong initiative
- Ability to build relationships and address large audiences
- Strong sales skills and ability to open accounts
- Experience in creating and implementing programs that add value
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Well organized with strong follow-through
- Strong leadership and team building skills
