Role Overview
- Produce regular and ad-hoc analysis on container shipping trends (vessel utilisation, trade flows, terminal performances, disruptions)
- Monitor key trade lanes and provide commentary on supply/demand dynamics
- Track port and terminal performance metrics
- Support client-facing reports and thought leadership content
- Respond to client and internal data requests
- Provide domain expertise feedback to the product team
Requirements
- 1–3 years at a shipping line, terminal operator, or port authority; practical knowledge of container shipping operations and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with data platforms (Alphaliner, Drewry etc.); exposure to commercial or planning functions
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, International Trade, Economics, or equivalent. Relevant experience considered in lieu
