Develop, execute, and maintain the health and safety management system
Manage health and safety initiatives including training and the injury reporting process
Support leaders and employees with health and safety concerns
Consult with and educate the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Perform ergonomic and job hazard assessments
Assist with incident investigations and reporting
Requirements
5 years of Health and Safety field experience, preferably in retail or distribution
Well-versed in local, provincial, national and international Health and Safety regulations including Work Safe BC, OSHA, ASHARE, ISO and WELL building standard
Experience liaising with applicable Health and Safety and Environmental regulatory authorities
Strong relationship management skills
Experience in supporting and executing health and safety strategies
