Role Overview
- Design, implement, and maintain the VistA network infrastructure in support of a government IT contract
- Interface and collaborate with other technical engineers and cross-functional IT teams to ensure network reliability and performance
- Develop, update, and manage network diagrams and related documentation
- Present network designs, changes, and status updates to the client and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
- Apply SAFe/Agile principles to plan and deliver network engineering tasks in an iterative environment
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to optimize system uptime and security
- Support compliance with government security and operational standards
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer supporting government IT contracts, preferably with VistA systems
- Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining network diagrams using industry-standard tools
- Demonstrated experience working in SAFe/Agile environments
