Senior professional responsible for the technical administration of SAP landscapes, providing support, analysis, troubleshooting and platform evolution while ensuring high availability, performance, security and operational continuity.
Administer SAP ECC, S/4HANA and related components (production and non-production).
Perform installation, configuration, updates and patch application.
Execute system copies, environment refreshes and manage transports (TMS).
Monitor systems, analyze logs, perform tuning and manage background jobs.
Manage technical users, certificates and integrations between systems.
Handle troubleshooting for critical incidents, problems and changes (Change Management / GMUD).
Support project activities and continuous improvements of the SAP platform.
Ensure adherence to ITSM processes, compliance and governance.
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network and security teams, as well as external vendors.
Work with a focus on root-cause analysis, recurrence prevention and reduction of operational risks.
Requirements
Solid experience in SAP BASIS within critical corporate environments.
Administration of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
Knowledge of SAP HANA and related databases.
Transport management, updates, upgrades and application of SAP Notes.
Monitoring, performance analysis and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).
Experience with SAP technical security and technical access management.
Experience with ITSM processes and change management (GMUD).
Integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Desirable knowledge: SAP BTP and SAP RISE.
SAP PO/PI or middleware integration experience.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Knowledge of automation and operational improvements.
Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
SAP BASIS certifications are a plus.
