Calculate individual physician and multidisciplinary team fees based on procedures performed, service contracts and the commercial terms agreed with each professional or medical group.
Process payouts in a timely manner, ensuring the necessary organization and documentation for payments.
Audit amounts to be paid by reconciling information on services provided (from medical records, the billing system and health insurers) with contractual remuneration rules.
Analyze and verify medical account statements to ensure that all billed and received items correspond to services that generate entitlement to fees.
Maintain a detailed, up-to-date record of remuneration contracts with each physician and team, including percentages, fixed amounts, deduction rules and any other relevant clauses.
Communicate with physicians and their administrative staff to clarify questions about payout calculations, adjustments and contractual rules.
Collaborate in reviewing and updating physician compensation contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with market practices and applicable legislation.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in fee payments by analyzing physicians' complaints and presenting explanations or making the necessary adjustments.
Work proactively to identify common causes of discrepancies and propose process improvements to minimize them.
Generate periodic reports on payout volumes and distribution by specialty and physician.
Provide strategic information to management on the performance of remuneration agreements and trends in physician fee costs.
Use hospital management systems (ERP), medical accounts and payout modules, spreadsheets and other tools to record, control and efficiently process information.
Stay up to date on ANS regulations, Federal Revenue Service rules and any other legislation that affects the remuneration of healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with billing, contracts and cost teams to optimize data-entry processes that directly impact payout calculations.
Comply with internal regulations, quality management system requirements, ANS regulations, as well as health, hygiene and occupational safety norms and procedures inherent to the sector, including the use of PPE/CPE (personal protective equipment/collective protective equipment) when activities require it.
Perform other duties inherent to the role or as directed by your immediate supervisor, provided they are within your qualifications and experience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
Proficient in Excel and hospital ERP systems (TASY, MV or similar).
Knowledge of procedure code tables (TUSS, CBHPM) and physician payout rules.
Familiarity with healthcare legislation (ANS) and contract management.
